Satellite Cellular Monitoring System (SCMS) and Pump Controller
How the Cellular Monitor Works:
The SCSM relies on a combination of cellular telephone and web-based technology. The cellular monitor is installed at pump stations and sends a wireless signal to the local cellular tower. That signal is bounced to the cellular monitors web interface, where clients can log on-any day, any time, from any computer and see how each pump station is operating. A “call out” list is set up online, so that when an alarm is triggered at a lift station, identified operators are contacted immediately. The notifications come in three selectable ways; text message, email or a call to your cellular telephone or hard-wired phone.
Satellite Cellular Pump Station Monitors are the industry’s easiest to install, set-up and use!
The Satellite Cellular Monitoring System (SCMS) combines two essential functions of pump station management: monitoring pump stations and pump control. The cellular monitor control can be used to turn pumps on or off, either automatically or manually!
The SCSM offers highly effective monitoring and analyzing tools: the ability to track pump run time, pump cycles, GPM, drawdown times, inflow, rainfall and pulse from a flow meter. As an added feature, this unit can monitor pump current by connecting an external amp probe into one of its four analog inputs. The cellular monitor’s 4×20 LCD screen and keypad make setup especially easy.
When an alarm occurs at a station monitored by the cellular monitor, you will be notified within seconds-quickly enough to correct the situation and avoid costly, environmental problems.
